Administrative History	Opened in 1732 as a chapel to Runcorn All Saints. In 1860 it became a parish church serving Clifton, Halton, Norton, Stockham, and part of Runcorn. Between 1973 and 1980 the parish was united with Grange and Runcorn Holy Trinity to form the parish of East Runcorn with Halton. For later records, see also Grange, Hallwood, Norton and Runcorn Holy Trinity. Castlefields Christ Church is an interdenominatonal church, attached to Halton for Church of England purposes.
